    SBI PO exam is to be conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI) to select eligible candidates for the Probationary Officers (PO) vacancies in different branches of the State Bank of India.
   
    SBI PO exam consists of 3 phases – Prelims, Mains and GD/ Interview round. Candidates must pass each exam to get shortlisted and progress to the next stage. The final selection will be based on merit.

    SBI PO Prelims is an online examination where the candidates must solve the question paper in one 1 hour for 100 marks. The test consists of 3 sections.

    1. English Language.
    2. Numerical Ability.
    3. Reasoning Ability.

    Candidates must know that the sectional cut-off in the Preliminary Exam has been removed and the overall score of all the sections will be considered for selection to the next round. As per the marking scheme, 1 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. 
   
    Candidates must be well aware of the process they have to follow on exam day. Before starting with the exam, candidates will have to go through a few formalities. On arrival at the test center for SBI PO, firstly the candidates need to locate their lab and go through the process of frisking. Post completion of this task, document verification will be done and candidates will be assigned their systems for taking exam.
